Meet Wrolf,
He had encephalitis at a young age, which has left him unsure where his hind legs are at times. His right hind leg has hip dysplasia and has consequently developed arthritis. Wrolf offloads behind and most of his weight is shifted forward. This puts strain on his elbows, especially his right Forelimb.
Wrolfs owner had a special dog ramp made all the way up the stairs to the second floor, just for him…
This is true companionship

Today, after good treatment, most of our time is spent making his day-to-day tasks as comfortable as possible for both him and his mom.
Daily challenges are:
Getting up from his bed
Walking (and not slipping) on the wooden floors
Injuries to his toes from dragging his right hind leg
Eating or drinking with his bowl on the floor
Getting up from lying down
Traveling back and forth from the first and second floor
We’ve shared some tips and tricks with his owner to help him out, such as eating off a raised surface, assistance in walking up to the second floor, and the correct way to get him from a lying to a standing position.
